British Glass is saddened and in mourning at the passing of our Head of State Queen Elizabeth II after 70 loyal and inspirational years

Along with the rest of the country and beyond, British Glass is saddened and in mourning at the passing of our Head of State Queen Elizabeth II after 70 loyal and inspirational years in leadership of our nation.

On this sad day for the British Constitution, we extend our sincere condolences to the Royal Family and extend our gratitude for her unwavering service that has so steadfastly led us through so many challenging times across her long reign.

She has been a constant beacon of reliability through all the adversity we have encountered. We should all be honoured to have lived through her great reign and be thankful for her service to our still strong nation.

Despite her great age her death still comes as a great shock with a massive sense of loss, and many will feel quite stunned or disoriented as we exit this second Elizabethan era and enter the new monarchy of King Charles III, a new chapter in British History.

Guided by government advice we will take stock and endeavour to pay our tributes in an appropriate way. We kindly ask members to share their condolences and memories with us, such as photos of site visits by The Queen or royal warrants for example, to create a sector wide tribute to Her Majesty and celebrate her wonderful life. If you would like to contribute, please send any messages or memories to prcomms@britglass.co.uk

Thank you, ma’am, may you rest in peace.
