Glass Futures

A not-for-profit research and technology organisation, Glass Futures, in collaboration with the global glass industry is delivering the world’s first openly accessible, commercially available, multi-disciplinary glass melting facility, The Global Centre of Excellence in St Helens, UK.

Together with researchers, industry leaders and its members it will deliver R&D and innovation by experimenting with different technologies to demonstrate solutions to decarbonise the glass-making process.

Through its 165,000 sq. ft facility, Glass Futures will support organisations’ sustainability journeys, demonstrate disruptive technologies and generate new ideas that will have an impact all the way through the glass supply chain to the consumer.
