Ware Handling Control

Industry demands for improvements to the glass container production process have necessitated the development of an IS machine conveyor to eliminate the influence of uncontrolled functions and other factors on conveyor control and adjustment. To answer these needs, it is not sufficient simply to modernise existing technologies. Instead, innovative technological automation solutions are required. Recently, BDF has invested in a development project for an IS machine conveyor control system, with the aim of reducing human intervention on the functions that control ware handling on the conveyor to a minimum, giving maximum repeatability of conveyor functions and simplifying process control for the machine operator. This article describes the project.
