The Use Of Glass Ceramics For Immobilising High Level Wastes From Nuclear Fuel Recycling

The origin and composition of fuel recycling wastes are summarised and some of the methods proposed for their solidification and disposal are discussed. The factors involved in the production of glass ceramics suitable for the purpose are reviewed.
