Use Of Fused Glass To Join Fused Silica Capillary Gas Chromatography Columns

A method for joining fused silica capillary gas chromatography columns is presented for use both in the repair of broken columns, the extension of undamaged columns, and the construction of effluent splitters. The method involves the use of GS20 sealing glass to form a tight sleeve over the junction between the fused silica capillaries.
