Tempering Glass With Modulated Cooling Schedules

Modulated quenching is a variant of the toughening process facilitating control over the strength and fracture characteristics of glass. Thus the strength of nondicing "heat-strengthened" glass can be raised to that of "Fully-tempered" glass.
