Structure Of Amorphous Pt60Pb20Sb20 With Split First X-Ray Halo

The split in first x-ray halo observed in metallic glass Pt60Pt20Sb20 indicates phase seperation. However, the sharpness of the first peak in g(r) does not support phase seperation. The first interatomic distance, co-ordination number CN and the shoulder on the second peak in g(r), all these together support the Bernal's hard sphere random packing model.
