Structural Features Of High-Fe203 And High-Al203/Fe203 Srs Hlw Glasses

Three glasses containing major concentrations of aluminium, boron, iron, lithium, sodium and silicon oxides at various ratios and minor concentrations of different waste oxides, both as-prepared and heat treated, were examined with XRD SEM/EDS and optical microscopy, FTIR, Raman and XAS spectroscopic methods. The findings are discussed in this paper.
