The Sorption Of Water On Obsidian And A Nuclear Waste Glass

The sorption isotherms for water on obsidian and a simulated nuclear waste glass were collected at 23 degrees C. The general shapes of the isotherms are similar to those of water on simple silicates and other oxides and are dominated by the condensation of water above about 95% relative humidity.
