A Simple And Rapid Spectrophotometric Method For The Determination Of The Ferrous-Ferric Ratio In Glasses

A method has been developed for the determination of micro amounts of ferrous iron by forming a pink colour with iodine monochloride in hydrochloric acid and measuring the absorbance at 520 nm.
