Frazier-Simplex and US glass manufacturer Liberty Glass have worked together to develop a revolutionary forehearth colouring system, known as Color Cell. Unlike traditional systems, it does not require the use of expensive colour additives, does not employ stirrers or blenders and allows the existing forehearth layout/length to be retained. The Liberty Glass installation operates with green and clear glass but Frazier-Simplex is confident that the technolgoy can be adapted to produce a wide range of colours.
