The Refractive Index-Profiles And Diffusion Analysis Of Cs+.Na+ Ion-Exchange Waveguides

The investigation of the temperature dependence of Cs+-Na ion exchange glass waveguides which are made by both thermal diffusion and electrical field assistant diffusion methods has been performed. It is found that these waveguides exhibit very high thermal stability below the glass transition temperature.
