Reduction Of Nox Emissions By Burner Application And Operational Techniques

The reduction of nitrogen oxides emissions on high temperature glass melting furnaces by proper selection, placement and operation of burners and proper combustion parameters is discussed with reference to a case history. The use of oxygen enriched combustion with a cracking chamber for natural gas is also described.
