Redox State Of Recycled Cullet (In French)

The redox state of every kind of recycled cullet can be measured by partial oxygen pressure, using a newly developed measuring system called "Rapidox". This paper gives some examples of redox state of different cullet types, and some contaminants that influence largely the redox state of the melt. Moreover, equivalences with reducing material, currently used in different factories have been studied in order to stabilise the redox state of the batch and correct the cullet processing.
