Oxygen Firing In Glass Melters

This article is an abridged version of a paper by Mike Damsell presented at the 22nd Asean Glass Conference in the Philippines in 1997 which looks at the basics of oxygen firing technology in glass melting furnaces. It also aims to eliminate some current misconceptions related to oxygen use within a glass melter.
