Novel Way To Determine Annealing Cycles

Most publications on the annealing of hollow glass suggest either Adams and Williamson's method or Corning Glass Works' method to determine the theoretical annealing cycles. In this paper, CNUD shows that these methods are badly adapted to the purpose and suggests instead a method that considers the stresses at the boundary of the article base, measured according to ASTM C 148 with standard strain discs. The results obtained are compared at the end.
