New Approach To Lead Release In Ceramics And Glassware

E J Payne Ltd, of Stoke-on-Trent, recently launched the SA4000 Scanning Analyser which is the first portable instrument capable of measuring low levels of lead and cadmium utilising a unique disposable electrode system. The instrument has been shown to produce results which are comparable with both Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption (GFAAS) and Flame Atomic Absorption (FAAS) at a fraction of the cost.
