Neck Ring Cooling

A series of process advantages are reported for the utilisation of separate blank mould and neck ring cooling on blank side Verti-Flow mechanisms. According to the author, for example, the provision of increased and controllable neck ring cooling gives the glassmakers the opportunity of ensuring repeatable, consistent neck ring cooling for all IS sections and from one production run to another.
