Molten Glass Dynamics In Three-Dimensional Cooling Channels

The application of three-dimensional computer simulation to forehearth design is considered from the viewpoint of the applied glass process engineer. A statistical fractional factorial design strategy is used to determine the effects of one or more design variables on glass flow and temperature.
