Mixed Halide Effect In Lead Silicate Glasses

A mixed halide effect has been found in lead silicate glasses which is similar in many aspects to that observed in mixed alkali glasses. As a second halide is added, the resistivity increases from that of a single halide. Dielectric properties have also been evaluated.
