[Middle East] Lower Fuel Costs Impact Economic Growth

All manufacturing industries, including glass, are undergoing a tough time in the Middle East. A record decline in the price of crude oil, which forms the backbone of most national economies in the region, has had an adverse impact on the consumption of glass in the flat and container sectors. This article presents an overview of the container and flat glass industries in Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar, as well as Lebanon.
