Neutral Pharmaceutical Tubing is used principally for the production of ampoules for containing products for injection by syringe. Glass used for the production of ampoules has to be resistant to corrosion by aqueous products to ensure that products leached from the inside surface of the ampoules do not degrade their contents. Good quality neutral glass conforms to minimum specifications defined by various International Standards for hydrolytic resistance and is usallly categorised as conforming to USP Class l or other equivalent standard.
