Meeting The Need For A Fast, Accurate Quality Analytical Service

A suite of powerful analytical instrumentation, whch provides the capability to investigate almost any process or product problem relating to the manufacture or use of glass, has recently been commissioned at the laboratories of British Glass Technology Ltd. The principal instruments in the new analytical suite are described in this article and examples are given of some of the routine quality control work carried out and some of the problems which have been investigated.
