Main Benefits Of Electrochromic Glazing

The principal benefits of electrochromic glazing include its energy-saving properties and high flexibility. In the first part of this article the authors review the prospects for commercialization of large-area electrochromic glazing, taking into consideration the materials which are used and the recent device configurations available; electrochromic solutions, solid state electrochromic layers and innovative user-controlled photochromic and gasochromic devices are discussed.
