Looking Forward With Pot Furnaces

Melting glass in pot furnaces is one of the oldest and most effective ways of producing small quantities of a wide range of glasses. Their use has been declining over the past three decades, however, as industry demands for low cost production methods have increased. This paper describes a development that should reduce the speed of this decline.
