The Induced Crystallisation Of Glass Forming Melts. Part 2. Influence Of Surfactants And Non-Surfactant Soluble Additives.

In this paper, possibilities are discussed to modify the nucleation rate in glass forming systems by introduction of various soluble additives (surfactants & non-surfactant oxides). The influence of surface energy changing oxides (surfactants),which should catalyse the nucleation process is theoretically analysed & experimentally investigated.
