Heat Soaking Eliminates Inferior Toughened Glass

Spontaneous fracture of toughened glass can be a dramatic event, involving a loud bang and a shower of small fragments. This can be particularly disturbing when the glass is used for the roofs of buildings such as shopping malls. There is a process which can detect potentially dangerous panels and eliminate them.
