Handling Pharmaceutical Containers On Modern Package Lines-From Cleaning To Labeling

Mr Juergen Fischer, Technical Sales Manager for Bausch & Stroebel, presented advances processing equipment for parental drugs. It became clear that each container will have an optimal production process that is designed for that container. Mr Fischer covered the range of basic processing steps from cleaning and sterilizing through filling & closing, inspection and labeling. Care must be taken for all those process steps to make them as aseptically appropriate as possible, while allowing for ease of cleaning, switching change parts or validation. At the same time, the process should enable the pharmaceutical manufacturer to maintain a complete data log and store the relevant data for detailed batch records.
