Getting The Best From Belt Conveyors

Many continuous process industries, particulary those which handle raw or finished materials in bulk, are heavily dependent on belt conveyors. If the conveyors cease to function as they should, the process - whatever it is - stops dead in its tracks. Glassmaking is no exception to this rule and in order to maintain continuity of production, minimise spillage costs and to maximise the life of belts between changes, care needs to be taken in conveyor design and the choice of belt.
