Forming - Improved Parison Glass-Handling With Servo-Electric Invert Mechanism (Sei)

Smooth motion with high repeatability and consistency is an important demand on mechanisms that directly handle glass in IS machines. Poor handling can negatively impact container quality even in the early stages of forming. In this article the authors show the importance of controlling motion during the invert process, and propose a solution that can reduce critical defects.
