Fem Analysis On The Deformation And Failure Of Fibre Reinforced Metallic Glass Matrix Composite

In this work, the finite element method (FEM) simulations on the deformation and failure of composite are conducted systematically by integrating with the related quasi-static, dynamic and high-speed impact tests. The corresponding deformation and failure characteristics are discussed in d tail, especially the shear banding behaviours, including the initiation and propagation of shear band, and the shear banding-induced failure are emphasized. Furthermore, the influences of various internal and external factors on the mechanical behaviours of composite are analysed.
