Extending Swab Intervals Maximises Productivity And Profitability

Recent developments in lubricants used at the hot end of the glass container plant have made it possible to significantly extend swab intervals, enabling higher production rates to be maintained. In this paper the characteristics of high performance lubricants are reviewed and their impact on the performance of the production line is discussed.
