Extending The Mathematical Prediction Of Viscosity Curves Using The Linear Regressions Model To A Range Of Commercial Glasses (In French)

The aim of this work was to extend the mathematical prediction of viscosity curves using the linear regressions model to a wider range of commercial glass compositions. The range of glasses include the alkali silicates; soda-lime glasses; soda-dolomite glasses; lead-crystal glasses; crystalline glasses, and lead-free glasses for which density and refractive index are comparable to the lead-crystal glass. It begins with a brief overview of the mathematical approach of different properties, especially viscosity calculations, and follows with the development of a chemical model for the proposed method and its mathematical translation.
