Evolution Of Refractories For Glassfibre Production

Refractories of dense chromic oxide and dense zircon have considerably improved production of glassfibre for textiles. Bushing blocks are now available in a greater range of sizes and can withstand severe thermal shock without cracking. Similarly, rapid evolution has taken place in the production of glassfibre for insulation.
