Emissions: Legal Regulations & Their Effects On Development In The German/Eu Glass Industry

This article reviews the emission threshold limit values for glass melting furnaces in Germany and other European countries, as well as special arrangements that have been achieved for the glass industry in some countries. At present, the main problem for the EU glass sector is that although companies in the European Union increasingly tend to have the same boundary conditions, emission regulations in various countries are, in practice, very different.
