Development Of Integrated Pollution Control In The Uk

The objective of this article is to demonstrate the benefits likely to be achieved by the UK brick industry, as a result of cooperative research to scientifically examine the environmental impact of, and the best means for the reduction of hydrogen fluoride emissions. The results have been used as a basis for a constructive and pro-active series of discussions with legislators and regulators, to determine solutions which are to the benefit of both brick companies and the communities in which they operate.
