Density As A Probe Of Oxide Glass Structure

This paper examines the proposition that density and molar volume can be directly related to short range structure in a host of oxide glasses. In particular, it looks at a variety of borates, silicates, germanates, vanadates, and thioborates. Results are reported within these families from both binary and ternary systems.
