Crystallization Kinetics Of Sodium Iron Aluminophosphate Glasses Studied By Dsc And Xrd

The crystallization kinetics of a series of sodium iron aluminophosphate glasses have been studied by XRD and non-isothermal DSC. The results are compared and an attempt made to correlate the findings with differences in glass composition. The implications of the findings in relation to the stability and durability of the glasses are highlighted.
