Cost Savings In Glass Manufacture - A Waste Of Energy?

Energy, along with water, raw materials and other consumable items, are all wasted in glass making. Minimising these wastes is one of the main aims to the Energy Efficiency Best Practice Programme (EEBPP) as well as its sister programme, the Environmental Technology Best Practice Programme (ETBPP). These programmes aim to improve productivity and help make consistent, good quality glass at minimum operating costs whilst simultaneously reducing CO2 emissions and reducing the company's impact on the environment.
