Cosmos - Development Of An Inspection System For The Unique Requirments Of The Cosmetic Container Manufacturing Industry

This article deals with the development by AGR of a specifically requested inspection system capable of detecting visual surface defects that could not be reliably detected using conventional sidewall inspection devices. The development was requested by a glass container manufacturer supplying the cosmetics and personal care products industries where the requirements for aesthetically perfect containers is probably the most demanding. The inspection device that resulted from this development is called the COSMOS System.
