Commercial Drive Brings Research Institution To Consultancy Market

New commercial demands on research institutions have led some of them to enter the consultancy market, offering glassmakers worldwide access to their expertise. One of those now offering its services internationally is British Glass. Through a subsidiary, British Glass Technology, advice is provided on specification and procurement of plant, process reviews, technical and environmental audits and feasibilitiy studies. Recent work has taken these consultants to Poland, Russia, India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and various locations in the UK and western Europe.
