Cleaning Up The Nuclear Waste At Hanford

The disposal of waste from the nuclear industry is a major problem. One of the worst affected sites is Hanford in Washington, USA, where thousands of people have been employed and billions of dollars have been spent just in preparation for a clean-up effort which is still many years away. But it is far from certain that the best possible option is being pursued.
