Ceramic Welding Process Extends Life Of Glass Furnaces

Damaged refractories can be rebuilt in situ while the host furnace's glass production continues without interruption with "Ceramic Welding." The process was developed during the 1970s by Glaverbel. As a result, Ceramic Welding was offered to the glass industry worldwide in 1980, when Glaverbel and Foseco formed the joint company Fosbel.
