Cassette Regenerators Meet Expectations

Space constraints meant that when Kopp Glass in Swissvale, USA wanted to build a new 10-pot furnace, the regenerator arrangement used on the other two furnaces at the plant could not be accommodated. The cassette regenerator system which was selected as an alternative has now been shown to offer a comparable level of thermal efficiency, despite its smaller size.
