The Ballidon Glass Burial Experiment - 35 Years On

The history and current status of the Ballidon glass burial experiment are reviewed. The experiment has been running since 1970 and originally had a purely archaeological perspective. Despite the long running nature of the experiment, relatively little in the way of data has been published; the reasons for this are discussed in this article.
