Application Of Cie Chromaticity On Colour Glass And Its Program Design

The spectrum pattern & colour of glass were used to characterize coloured glasses. However, the spectrum pattern is only the function of wavelength & transmission (or absorption). The colour of glass was studied from the point of view of chromaticity. The CIE standard chromatic system was adopted to rate colour filter glasses. C-language was applied to take the data from the standard spectra and fit curves. The standard recommended by CIE was employed to compute & then draw the diagram of colour position of more than 100 kinds of colour filter glasses regarded 6 standard light source as its centre. Their standard chromaticity coordinates, dominate wavelength & saturation parameters were obtained. In addition, the colour position & parameters of undetermined glass samples can be determined & compared with standard glass by adopting this method.
