British Glass and Glass Technology Services earn Tommy's Pregnancy and Parenting at Work Champions accreditation

British Glass and Glass Technology Services has been recognised as Tommy's Pregnancy and Parenting at Work Champion. This important accreditation celebrates companies that are setting exemplary standards in supporting employees during pregnancy and parenting. 

The recognition is a testament to British Glass and Glass Technology Services' commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive workplace environment.

To achieve the Tommy's Pregnancy and Parenting at Work Champions badge, British Glass and Glass Technology Services have not only met but exceeded all statutory requirements for maternity and paternity support in the workplace. The company has implemented the following enhanced policies: 

  • Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay and leave 
  • Compassionate leave policy to support for the loss of a child or pregnancy including miscarriage 
  • Additional and enhanced neonatal care leave and pay 
  • A policy to support paid absences for fertility treatment 
  • Promotion of flexible working and family-friendly policies including paid domestic leave 
  • Support on return to work following parental leave.
