X-Ray Technology Removes Contaminants From Glass

The recycling of glass contributes significantly to energy efficient production, although contaminants left in cullet can negate these efforts. Recycling specialist BT-Wolfgang Binder has developed a system using x-ray fluorescence technology to sort common impurities from the glass stream.
