If so, WRAP is holding a briefing session entitled 'Bottling beer in a changing climate' on 1 Oct in the Manchester Int Convention Centre. At this session, you will be able to find out more about the progress of a groundbreaking initiative called GlassRite: Beer, Cider & Spirits, launched 2007 to encourage lightweighting of glass bottles. The event will highlight some case studies where glass lightweighting has been successfully undertaken, & will introduce some of the research that is being conducted in this area. Lightweighting can offer a cost effective & environmentally-responsible solution for manufacturers, retailers & brand owners.
