Whisky Warrants Master Moulding

The release of Grant's top-range 25 Year Old Scotch whisky is claimed to have called for "an exercise in master moulding" from STO Flaconnage. Johannes Schick, CEO of parent Stolzle Glass Group said: "This is an ultra-heavyweight bottle produced by our Prestige Spirits and Design operation. It takes full advantage of the maker's moulding expertise and our high visual-quality cosmetic white flint glass. "The bottle body is enhanced with complex embossing that requires the most skilful moulding process. To make a bottle of this standard is a most satisfying experience." Embossed on the heavy-based, generously dimensioned container is a tree design, which represents five generations of the family and the contribution that each has made to this blended Scotch. It is released to the market in numbered batches in limited volumes.
